Absolute Return Trust: This fund invests in a mixture of Australian equities, cash and derivatives. This fund has the ability to short sell, as well as reduce the net equity investment down to as low as 50%. This fund will also hold derivative positions from time to time which can be used to partially protect the portfolio against significant negative moves in the equity market.
