We have the following funds available:
Absolute Return Trust: This fund invests in a mixture of Australian equities, cash and derivatives. This fund has the ability to short sell, as well as reduce the net equity investment down to as low as 50%. This fund will also hold derivative positions from time to time which can be used to partially protect the portfolio against significant negative moves in the equity market.
Global Listed Property Securities Trust (in a JV with LaSalle Investment Management): This fund invests in property securities listed on major global exchanges such as USA, Canada, UK, Europe, Asia and Australia. It offers an opportunity to invest in a trust managed by one of the worlds largest property fund managers, and participate in the rapidly expanding global listed property markets.
Listed Property Securities Trust: This fund invests in a broad range of property securities listed on the ASX. The fund will generally have a bias towards higher yielding and undervalued property securities.
Micro Cap Trust (wholesale investors only): This fund invests in the smallest companies listed on the ASX, generally with market capitalisations less than $100 million.
Property Income Fund: This fund seeks to invest in property securities and specifically seeks to deliver a significantly higher yield than the S+P / ASX 300 Listed Property Trust Index. Generally the bulk of the investments will be more traditional property investments than the current index construction which has an increasing exposure to business income at the expense of rental income. This fund specially seeks to redress this concerning and growing imbalance.
SGH20 invests in a concentrated portfolio of approximately 20 securities listed on the ASX. The fund will have an emphasis on companies which have positive long term fundamental outlooks.
SGH IC2E invests across the capitalization spectrum in companies that have or are creating an entrenched market position for their products or services. SGH believes that key intangible assets (such as Brands, Licenses, Patents, Logistical capability, a Captive client base) are the most difficult to replicate and that effective management of these key assets can enable companies to entrench their products/services in the marketplace.
Smaller Companies Trust (The wholesale fund is now CLOSED to new investment): This fund invests in companies listed on the ASX which are outside the 100 largest companies, and predominantly will have market capitalisations of less than $1 billion.
