2001: SGH established in August 2001, and the first fund (Small Companies Trust) invested with $5 million and other funds seeded shortly after.
2002: Melissa Woodgate joined to help on the reconciliation and dealing side, and is now the Assistant Portfolio Manager with the Listed Property Trust team.
2003: SGH entered a joint venture with Jones Lang LaSalle's listed property securities subsidiary, LaSalle Investment Management to offer a Global Property Securities Trust which commenced in Oct 2003.
2003: James Ewinger joined the Absolute Return Trust team and acts as the Portfolio Manager for that fund's Australian Equity Trust.
2004: Robert Hook joined to run the SGH20 fund, a concentrated non-benchmark portfolio. Robert, who was formerly with NAM and was Head of HSBC's Australian Equities team, has 32 years investment experience, both in global and domestic equity markets.
2005: Callum Burns joined to establish and run SGH IC2E. Callum previously worked at BT Financial Group and Rothschild Australia Asset Management in a number of senior roles including Director of Balanced Funds and Head of Global Asset Allocation . Callum has over 15 years investment experience.
2005: Michelle Laskowski joined SGH to take over Melissa's role as Portfolio Administrator.
